hey ppl, just to inform u on this coming sunday's program.
start with singspiration...
(done by me, i'll be using a video so don't hv to trouble TY)
then we have bday celebration for all jan n feb babies (:
after that we split into our cell groups to do our sharing n bonding.
sharing n bonding is within our own grps n up to th indivual grp on wat they plan to do.
going out of th sch with yr grps is possible, if u'all are interested.
ps. exco's we got meeting after sharing n bonding.

hi guys!!
thanks sixuan fo th support n all th nice stuff.
u're welcome anws, i aim to make cdw fun n useful in our spiritual walk.
also i agree with one part of yr excerpt strongly.....
[Yes it is true. Jesus our Savior is always with us, enabling us to be content no matter what our circumstances. Beacuse of Him, we can be kind even toward those who mistreat us. As we love Him, trust Him, and depend on Him, He will give us strength to do the impossible. ]
yeah indeed i saw God strengthen me to do th impossibles in my life during this month of january!!! n i guess all it really takes is to love Him, trust Him n depend on Him (x
just wanna happily share with u guys that i came out winner for my poppin battle xD n this is a little something i koped out from my blog to share with u all.
i definitely feel i won th battle with God n because of God. without Him, i would be nothing. (ps. dont ask me abt my blog, privated HAHAHA, paiseh)
I have assured you that there would be a reward for your faithfulness. You are now at a place where you can already lift up your eyes and look upon it.
I have prepared this for you, and I have stood beside you through the times of endurance. I have urged you on when you would have given up, because I would not allow you to fail.
Recognize My hand in this. Your work is My work, and I am well able to takecare of every aspect.
this is from one of my daily devotional materials.
th funny thing is i was reading one page a day...when i realised how come im at this date when i havent reached this date in real life???!??
so i checked back today...n realised i missed out 2 pages.
n one of them was recognize My hand. n it made alot of sense to me.
after wat happened. it simply touched my heart so much.
n i think thats wat God wanted to tell me after my poppin battle.
thats wat He wanted to assure me....now n always.

Today, the very FIRST session of our Christian Dance Workshop (CDW)!!! :D
Hi everyone I'm sixuan (: I read what Jamie typed in the previous post and I agree y'know!! Last time when I was younger, before coming to YF, I used to think of God just as God -really intimidating, and able to just strike me dead anytime he felt like it, like in that Bible story haha. Yknow how there was a pastor who said in one of our services before that we have to see God as a God, a Father, AND a friend? Yeah! I think building such a three-pronged relationship with God means we can feel free to talk to God about EXACTLY what's in our hearts - no need to fake in front of him cos he can read us anyw!
Anyw, this was my quiet time a few days back:
Calvin Johnson was sentenced to life imprisonment after being wrongly convicted of rape. In the courtroom he had said, "God is my witness, I have been falsely accused...I just pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the truth will eventually be brought out". Sixteen years later, in 1999, DNA tests proved him innocent and he was freed. Amazingly, he holds no bitter feelings toward the woman who falsely accused him, the jury that found him guilty, or the judge who sentenced him. Upon his release he said, "Bitterness will destroy you. Now I just need a job."

Haha also I'd like to say a big WELL DONE! to Jamie here, because CDW today was awesome fun (: It was truly a change I suppose, something new, something refreshing, and I think by the end of these 10 sessions we should have all broken that psychological barrier about dancing that many of us have right now; and I bet in the tenth lesson all of us will not free self-conscious anymore and will be able to let loose (: HOPEFULLY, of course! Haha but anyway YUP so I'd like to say I really enjoyed myself today (: THANKS JAMIE!! :D
